Manley, "not your normal Realtor", Nelson,  combines youthful energy  with the experience of 1000s of transactions. Manley's strengths are in marketing, negotiating, building and development expertise, as a licensed active Broker. His weaknesses are offset by his partner Jessica Ferris who handles transaction coordination and office management so Manley can interact with clients.

 Manley attended Virginia Military Institute where he played left cornerback, was a Biology major and received the prestigious Military Order of the World Wars award for academic and athletic excellence. Upon graduation from University, he  helped his family develop Quail Wood Estates, remodeled and built homes. 

 Licensed as a Broker in 1986, Manley has been involved in over 1000 transactions, built or remodeled 48 homes, developed 2 residential communities, been a sales and marketing consultant for residential land developers throughout Virginia, the Carolinas, Georgia and Bend, Oregon. He has worked for BlueGreen Corp., Winding River, Pronghorn, Balsam Mountain Preserve to name a few. 


Following a leg injury and losing his cooperate sponsorships for mountain bike racing,  Manley switched gears and developed, without partners, Spring Mountain, an "environmentally sensitive community" in Fort Valley VA. Being near US-81 and I- 66, one hour outside of DC, but surrounded by the George Washington National Forest, the 400 deserved preservation. 

The homes are tucked in the woods with 200 acres of pastures left undeveloped. 

Manley has since come to be a regionally recognized "LandMan" for his work in land acquisition, entitlement and especially his creative approaches to marketing. 

 PinDrop Group is not only a general Brokerage Real Estate firm but now offers development consultant services as well.   

Jessica Ferris, his life and business partner, works in the acquisitions arm, constantly searching for more land while taking care of everything in the office

too. Jessica's daily efforts allow Manley to be his best for you.
